Storing a bag for the day is easy if you pack it with intention. The rule on Bagdropin is simple: leave only clothes and personal items, and keep everything of value with you.
Fine to leave
- Clothes, shoes and jackets.
- Toiletries and everyday personal items.
- Souvenirs and shopping you bought during your trip.
- Umbrellas, hats, scarves and similar items.
Keep with you
- Laptops, phones, cameras, chargers and other electronics.
- Passports, ID, tickets and other documents.
- Money, bank cards, jewellery and valuables.
- Medication, keys and anything you cannot be without.
Bagdropin does not insure luggage. The partner is responsible for the bags they hold, so only leave what you could live without for a day.
Packing tips
- Close and, if you can, lock your bag. Partners never open bags.
- Put a tag with your name on it.
- Take a clear photo of each bag. You will be asked for at least one at drop-off.
- Bring a small day bag for the essentials before you hand your suitcase over.
Questions fréquentes
- Can I leave a laptop in storage?
- No. Electronics, documents, money and valuables must stay with you.
- Do I need to lock my bag?
- It is a good idea. Partners do not open bags, and a lock adds peace of mind.
- Why does Bagdropin ask for photos?
- A photo of your luggage at drop-off records its condition and protects both you and the partner.
